Filter JSON with jq and Export CSV

Filter a JSON array with jq and export the result as CSV in your browser. Review intermediate data and save the workflow to run on the next export.

Saving keeps input, steps and results in this browser. Automatic workflow history is off unless you enable it in Saved tasks. Share links and exported files contain input; give them only to people who may read it.

When to use this workflow

Select the rows you need before exporting a spreadsheet. The default jq filter keeps active records. Return one JSON value, such as an array built with map or brackets. CSV export protects spreadsheet formulas by default; turn that off only when you intend to retain executable formulas.

Inspect, adjust and repeat

Start with the working example or paste your own input. Run the steps, select any result to inspect it, and download intermediate files. Change a step’s settings to clear old results before running again. Save the task locally to keep its input and results, or export the workflow to move its input and recipe to another browser.

Limits and privacy

Processing stays in your browser, with no database connection or server conversion. Workflows accept up to 1 million input characters and 10 connected steps; each step has a 15-second time limit and 2 million output characters. Saving is explicit. Anyone receiving a workflow file or share link can read its input.
