Align timestamps across regions

Search and select the source time zone by city, country or IANA name, then add target zones with the same picker. Beijing finds Asia/Shanghai; New York finds America/New_York. Remove a target with its × button. Use current time refreshes the date and time in your selected source zone. Results include each zone’s offset and the shared UTC instant.

Named zones and fixed offsets

A named zone includes historical and daylight saving rules. A fixed offset does not. The input is a local wall-clock time without an offset; use the Unix Timestamp Converter when starting from an epoch value.

Frequently asked questions

Why can a local time be ambiguous or missing?

When clocks move back, the same wall-clock time can refer to two different instants. When clocks move forward, some local times do not exist. The default mode reports either case; earlier and later explicitly select an interpretation.

Does this use my current UTC offset for every date?

No. A named IANA zone uses its rules for the entered date. Rules come from the browser’s time-zone database, so historical precision and future legislation depend on that database being current.
